258 DIY E-Liquid Recipes found

Anybody else sit down at their vape bench and stare longlingly at your flavor stash, enjoying the aroma of whatever catches your eye at the time? My gf and I are in love with DIY and I wanted to get her involved in the recipe process. I had her choose three flavors that sounded good to her, and here we are. I think she's onto something.

Sweeten to taste

Idea from the noted crew. Won the alchemist flavorah pack from fotw drawing and was researching red cinnamon from odies flavor facts. Found the cinnamon episode I had seen before but forgot the red cinnamon review as I didn't have that flavor at the time. I believe Dave or Emily mentioned apple option i thought sounded interesting so i thought of sour apple first to compliment the candy componet of red cinnamon. Then wanted another apple to soften the sour and not more tart so ended up with inw 2 apples. The last part was finding a bridge from red cinn inhale to apple exhale but it ended up being more of a binder. Caramel was the obvious answer. So used the old stand by with caramel candy to achieve a deeper flavor that's there but still let's the apple peek through. 0.25 percent on the red cinnamon provides a full sticky mouth feel and just works with the sour/tart of the apples. Hope you enjoy, it's different and delicious. Shake and vape approved but the caramel will develop after a couple days.

On our You Vote, We Mix podcast aired on 4-23-20, you voted for a Raspberry Crumble profile. And honestly, the recipe we came up with didn't seem to hit the mark. After listening to your suggestions and having a bit more time to tackle this very difficult profile, we think we have a very good version to put out there. Thanks to everyone for participating and a special thank you to Mist Eliquids for suggesting this profile.

Wow. That was simple haha

Cinnamon Crunch Cereal in a bowl of whole milk with fresh slices of red apples laid on top 🍎 🍎 🍎

Edit** i tweaked this a smidge.

Using Daves a.k.a. ID10-T's Strawberry trinity and then combining it with one of my favorite light and fluffy "Cream" layers, I've found this recipe works well for people who are partly to severely "Blind" to Strawberries. The (FA) Lemon Sicily @ 0.25% is not present after the recommended steep time, yet aids in bringing the strawberries forward in the mix. The recipe was created and tested on a dual coil RTA @ 0.12 ohms and mod set to TC Mode @ 75watts and 420 degrees F. Recommended Steep is 14-30 days.

Affogato is the Italian word for drowned and this is exactly what this profile simulates. It's a mildly sweet vanilla ice cream, drowned in espresso, and topped with dark chocolate bits. Most Affogato drinks also have a nut added like hazel nut. I didn't add a nut flavor, but by using CAP Double Chocolate V2, it carries with it a generic nut, not necessarily a hazel nut, but similar.

As some of you may know, coffee is very tough to work with. Most coffee flavors have off notes of "burnt popcorn", "scorched coffee", and some even get a "skunk" note from them(ID10T). However, with the arrival of Vape Train flavors, I think they may have hit the mark when it comes to coffees, or at least a few of them.

VT Caffe Latte is an absolutely fabulous creamy coffee flavoring. The aroma is almost a spot on Affogato, but when vaped, it seems a bit underwhelming. It's great, but just a bit weak. VT Coffee Base is exactly the opposite of the VT Caffe Latte. The aroma is shockingly bad. You would never think it would work as a coffee base to build around. But vape it, and it is a rich coffee with no "burnt popcorn", "scorched coffee", or "skunk" off notes. So, by combining these two flavorings it makes for the perfect Affogato base.

The ice cream base I used here might leave some to say "Why didn't he use LB Vanilla Ice Cream?". Well, I did try it. And while I love that flavor, it seemed to not be the right ice cream note for this profile. But, if you don't have VT Vanilla Ice cream, feel free to sub it with LB, but use it around 4%. But I suggest to try it with the VT.

VT Vanilla Cream adds a bit more vanilla and seems to add a kind of "thinned down" ice cream like you would get when pouring hot coffee over an ice cream.

I added FW Sweetener to make it at a sweetness level consistent with an Affogato, but you're welcome to lower or raise it to your liking.

As a finishing note, I would like to say that I normally don't "brag" about my creations, but I have to say that this is probably my best mix I've done lately. But, I'll let you be the judge.

This is not a shake and vape, you need to let this steep for 7 days. If you do try it off the shake, you'll get a lot of vanilla and the coffee may be a bit up front. So, let it steep and I promise, you won't be disappointed....at least I hope you won't.

I hope you will mix, comment, and or rate, it make us all better mixers. :)
