Butterscotch Banana Cream Pie with roasted pecan bits and a thin crunchy cereal crust.
WF Butterscotch Cream Pie is a good sweet butterscotch cream filling with a slight bakery note so i accented it with cerral 27 to make a thin crunchy crust.
TPA Banana cream is one of my favourites but is not super creamy so i added TPA Whipped Cream also blends every flavouring together.
And for the pecan bits nothing better than FW Butter Pecan, adds a good roasted pecan top note, and a nice bit of butter that does really nicely for the cake profile.

A while ago, I picked up WF Butterscotch Cream Pie - and quite frankly... I forgot why.
So I thought to myself "enough is enough!" and I made this with it.
I decided the mixture of AP, INW biscuit and FA Apple Pie would make the perfect crust I was looking for and it has a sort of butteriness over this combo. And I really wanted you to taste the crust!
Duh.. WF Butterscotch Cream Pie, which is helped on its way by INW Custard, FW Butterscotch Ripple and a little bit SS to make it disgustingly sweet.
I find that WF Butterscotch Cream Pie has just about enough cream in it for me to get away not using a cream - although FW Butterscotch Ripple does give it a hand with that as well.
It tastes pretty fatty, sweet and buttery. Makes me feel like a disgusting pig vaping this, but it's such a guilty pleasure really.
Give it about 3 days steep and you're good to go.
It is delicious. The custardy buttery taste of the Flapper Pie works so well with the Butterscotchs. It is rich but not overly rich, creamy and just buttery-scotchy goodness. I don't use a lot of sweeteners or go much above 0.5% when I do use them but you can add sweetener to your liking. If you like super sweet vapes then go ahead and add sweetener to your tastes. It is lightly sweet with just the Meringue.
WF Flapper Pie single flavor test, it has a smooth buttery sweet custard / pie flavor after a week steep. After trying it I immediately knew I wanted to try a Butterscotch custard Pie with it. . Hope you will give it a shot and give me your feedback and thoughts on what you would or did change or what would possibly work better with the Flapper Pie.
And for anyone leaving comments I will politely ask that if you have something negative to say or feedback do not be rude or curse me. Approach me as an adult and be civil and leave the nastiness elsewhere.
Let’s face it. Chocolate vapes are terrifying. Most of them taste like… something not appropriate to mention here. Well, forget everything you know about chocolate vapes. i managed to create a milk chocolate lover’s dream in this mix, with a natural, creamy, sweet, authentic-tasting milk chocolate flavor, wrapped around a gooey caramel coated, creamy vanilla custard blend.
This is a spot on shoofly pie - so what is a Shoofly pie you ask ? Shoofly pie began as a crust-less molasses cake called Centennial cake in 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in Philadelphia The name comes from a particular brand of molasses, Shoofly Molasses
. The dry-bottom version is baked until fully set and results in a more cake-like consistency throughout. The wet-bottom version is set like cake at the top where it was mixed in with the crumbs, but the very bottom is a stickier, gooier custard-like consistency
As a kid my family would vacation in Lancaster PA with a large amish community and they would sell wet bottom shoofly pie at road side stands, I love that pie !!!!
for this pie the Molasses and , butterscotch cream pie create the main note . The molasses is a brown sugar/ maple syrup and needs a a little body to support it so the butterscotch cream pie by WF, along with the condensed milk to create that wet bottom of the pie. . The recipe actually has a stick of butter for the crumble top hence the butter base by VT combined with some of LB bakers touch to add a cinnamon for the crumble like texture. The sugar cookie and cookie are my go generic butter pie crust. and will also help with the crumble top . This is an over the top sweet pie so it needed a touch a supersweet
This brought back some great memories for me - This is pretty much spot on and needs bout 2 - 3 days to really begin to come out and 5 days to get the deeper molasses notes
