Vanilla Custard Pie Quickie (With Graham Crust)

Somebody asked me for a vanilla custard pie vape for a pod/MTL set-up, so here's another quickie! With the confinement, people can't buy vaping products on my island, so I'm trying to help.

It's Fresh's quick custard with my favorite graham cracker in it. The Sugar cookie brings more crust.

This should work in a pod/MTL set-up at 50VG/50PG, but you can easily vape it in a sub-ohm tank or RTA/RDA at 70VG/30PG

So today on SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! we are celebrating Addy's retirement by doing a Wishing Well! A wish for Mark Clough!

Pippa donated and asked us for something deep, sweet and banana! So Fresh and I came up with this banana crème brûlée with bananas in your face for days, and here is how it goes:

SA Banane Flambée/WF Banana Purée = the banana, strong fruit flavor.

VT Banana Custard/TPA Banana Cream = they smooth the fruit and give it body and cream.

INW Crème Brûlée/VT Golden Syrup/FLV Caramel = our crême brûlée which is rich and lush and brulée!

Pain Aux Raisins For Fresh03 (Raisin Bread)

So today on SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! we are celebrating Addy's retirement by doing a Wishing Well! A wish for Mark Clough!

Fresh made a donation and requested a French pastry from me. I know Fresh is a breakfast pastry lover so I chose a traditional, delicious French breakfast pastry called 'pain aux raisins' or 'currant bread' in English. It's a lovely flaky pastry jammed with custard and raisins and a nice sweet sugar glaze on top. This is how we made it, with the help of @TamVapes:

WF Croissant/VT Croissant/JF Biscuit = for the pastry which is strong and buttery.

WF Caramel Butter = has the job of adding butter, that little browning of flaky pastry and some sweetness on top.

FA Custard Premium/LB Vanilla Ice Cream/FLV Vanilla Pudding = that's Fresh's quick custard which is well eggy and vanilla reach which is what we want.

FLV Raisin Rum/FLV Sweet Fig= for the raisins and the currants and that dash of rum in every custard-filled viennoiserie in France.

Pet Me I'm Famous (Marshmallow Milk For My Kitten)

It's SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! And we're doing Cats and Dogs! today! I have a pretty kitten that isn't mine but loves to hang out with me and she's the sweetest little talker. Also, Fresh's cats love to be live on stream every Saturday and they're YouTube divas.

FA Marshmallow = it's my favorite marshmallow of them all.

OOO Marshmallow Vanilla/FLV Marshmallow Vanilla = That's the body of the marshmallow and hopefully it also helps the marshmallow last longer.

FA Milk/VT Love DIY = the milk combo, nice fresh milk with a good body of creamy white chocolate goodness for the mouthfeel.

TPA Malted Milk = does the cereal milk trick without the cereal.

OOO Powdered sugar = to sweeten all of it and still give the marshmallow a little structure.

Marshmallow is a flavor that fades quickly, so my advice is mix a 30ml of it at a time.

Galarian Rapidash (Raspberry Gummy Candy)

Today on SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! Poke'Mixing Generation 2! We're doing Pokémon! I chose Galarian Rapidash because it is a beautiful pink unicorn that packs a fireball, just like me!

TPA Cotton Candy Circus/OOO Marshmallow Vanilla/WF Strawberry Gummy Candy = That's my candy, soft, chewie and full in the mouth. Also sweet enough that you don't need and sweetener.

INW Raspberry/FLV Red Raspberry/FW Razzleberry = my usual tasty raspberry with a little FW razzle to turn it into a candy. Anytime you're making a pink candy, through a dash of razzle into it and you'll have a candy berry trick.

Give it a couple of days and you'll have a juicy and powerful gummy, that's really tasty.

Mlk Be A King (Mango Lemon Lime Kiwi Juice)

Doing MLK Mixing With fresh03 and Friends! I had to do an MLK.

You can add 0.5% of CAP Super Sweet to this mix to brighten it and round up the edges.

One of the reasons why I am working as an advocate and an activist and one of my favorite quotes from MLK: “We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor, it must be demanded by the oppressed.”

To be a voice of critic be a force of proposition, and in the steps of MLK, be the change you want to effect.

Macaron à La Fraise (Strawberry Macaron For Corvape)

We were doing "Wishing Well! Australian Brush Fires!" on SaturDIY'ing with fresh03 and Friends! and I made this recipe for Corvape who requested a strawberry macaron which is different from a macaroon (that's the coconut treat), thing is, I can't taste strawberry in vapes.

MB MECHMODRN helped me out with the strawberries. I do get something from VSO Strawberry which I used instead of FA Red Touch.

I wanted to let you know, I watched the maple notes video and they talked about your maple vanilla long john you mixed for the mixathon that you did for someone who wanted a very maple recipe. Guess what! It was me who asked! You mixed it for me! So I wanted to say I use it a lot and it’s nice. I think when I know how to mix better I might tweak it a bit so the maple is a little less dry and the vanilla doesn’t come through as much but I still totally love it. It ages really well and I always have a 60ml of it aging somewhere.

I really enjoy this recipe. Compared to all the other recipes using TPA Banana bread that I have tried, it i not dry and that makes it so good. I love the idea of the caramel and the ice cream taking this back to a pudding. You nailed this profile and made it such a lush, smooth banana bread vape, I enjoy it a lot and it's really hard to wait 2 weeks to vape this recipe. I've mixed 60ml of this before a week before Christmas and I've been enjoying it ever since. The biscuit and the redness comes through brilliantly but what I like best is the touch of ginger on the exhale that pickles my tongue and it's delicious. I will mix this again because I love it! Another brilliant SlashaLo recipe and I hope you'll be awarded on the DIY or Die best everything in 2018, you already deserve it.

I love this recipe. I have a 120ml of it at all times, it's on of my ADV. I love passion fruit in this mix, the guava shines, the tangerine supports the guava and the juicy orange perfectly. The dragonfruit is here to make this mix juicier, so is the orange, and I just can't stop vaping this thing. My favorite fruit/tropical recipe of all times. It might be a tad sweet in the beginning, but with time, that just become a smoothing agent. I really love this mix on its own, I've never had the original and I don't feel like I need to, now that I've had this.

I mixed 60 ml of it and gave it a week of steep because I really love Thai tea. So far I don't like this at all. To me it doesn't taste of Cha Thai at all, whether from a restaurant or making it myself. I can't taste the sweetness of the condensed milk or the spiciness of the Thai tea spices. I have a vague dark sorta creamy flavor, almost chocolaty and I don't find I can vape it. I'll let it sit another couple of weeks or more and see if the taste changes but I don't have much hope. I'll amend my review if this gets better for me but until now, this is a complete miss for me.

I had never tried a candy vape and I found this one quite smooth and tasting of that artificial/gummy aspect of sour worms. It's not sour, unfortunately, but it's quite similar once you've sucked all the sugar/citric acid off of your blue and pink sour warm. Not an ADV but I like it in my rotation every couple of days.

I really enjoy the donut base of your recipe and I do get some raspberry in it, but it's more candied than jellied. I feel like it needs a little bit more authentic raspberry and maybe some blackcurrant to make the jam a bit more juicy. The vanilla is soft and sweet, not too overpowering which is nice. The vanilla bean ice cream is a background note that makes this more elaborate but it doesn't take over. The honeysuckle is the star of the show here, and although I can tell the balance of the recipe is great and the vape is smooth, I just don't like the flavor in this one. The honeysuckle taste very green and perfume like to me which reminds me of why I can't vape strawberry vapes. It's my own fault but I can't bring myself to like this one.

I think I like TPA VB gelato a lot more than TPA VB ice cream. The ice cream is smooth and not overpowering at all which I love. The almond brings a sweetness I didn't expect, especially with the shisha vanilla, they complement each other really well. The thing that is not working for me in this juice is the pistachio. I don't know if it's because I love salty pistachios, although I do love pistachio ice cream, but this pistachio is too sweet, it lacks depth, and we fall back to an almond/nutty ice cream a lot more than a strong pistachio one. I will keep the ice cream base in mind, but I don't think pistachio shines here.

This was a test for me to see if I can taste FA Red Touch. Answer is, I can't. What I get is a very biscuit-y lemon meringue pie. Simple, not bad, totally missing the point for me, and that's on me. It's a bit harsh in taste though, I think it needs to settle a bit longer than 3 days. Or it's the back effect of the strawberry for me. Anyway, not my thing at all.

This is really reminiscent of the original, but also a nice and tasty mix by its own standards. I vape it often, and I like it, but even after a steep, it's missing depth. In the chase for popcorn, this is very caramel, or butter finger popcorn, which I enjoy, but not all the way to a corn bread or a pudding. It's nice and sweet and a good vape.

I like the berries in your mix, they work well together with a definite accent on blue and darker berries which fits your forest theme. The TPA Graham Crackers gives body I suppose? I do not get granola or biscuit in any way. But what I'm missing here is the yogurt. You can go much higher on TPA Greek Yogurt before it becomes a main note and before its tang comes through. You do advise that peopke can bump it up to 5%, why not do that right away? Also I would bump it to 8% without hesitation. I definitely did not use 1% of Super Sweet, that would be way too sweet for me. I did 0.5% of FW Sweetener. All in all a nice mix, I like it, but I think you could push this mix further by adding more TPA yogurt and working on a real granola base. Your berries are really spot on and pleasant. Good job!

This recipe is amazing. My favorite peach vape. I add 2% TPA Peach Juicy and a tad more Eggnog because I find WF PP&C a little thin on the fruit. It has become my ADV of the moment. Brilliant !
